About this third part

Parts One and Two of this series were written in response to a conversation. A Financial Times podcast looked at the Seerah through the lens of trade, and I extracted from that conversation thirty-eight lessons for Muslim entrepreneurs.

But a podcast is a window, not the house.

The window was useful. It let us see familiar rooms from an unfamiliar angle. Now it is time to walk in through the front door and take the lessons directly from where they have always been: the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger ﷺ.
