A truth this demanding cannot be carried by intelligence alone, which is why it resolves, in the end, into dua. Two supplications belong to this theme, and it is worth being precise both about what they are and about what they actually ask.
اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِي التَّفَقُّهَ فِي الدِّينِ، وَالْبَصِيرَةَ فِي أَمْرِكَ، وَوَفِّقْنِي لِمَا تُحِبُّ وَتَرْضَى فِي كُلِّ حَالٍ وَوَقْتٍ
“O Allah, grant me deep understanding of the deen and clear insight into Your command, and grant me success in doing what You love and what pleases You, in every state and every time.”
